Life is purely based on pure luck

  • No you didn't work hard, that's just your ego. You could have been born a poor ugly deformed rat in the slums of Mumbai, who have abusive parents.

You just were extremely lucky to even get the chance to get into university or get free education.

Even intelligence is purely genetic, some people are born with high IQ and other people are just born dumb.

Everything in life is purely based on luck.

This is the harsh truth, and God is not real.

  • yeah I get you

would also like to be a chaebol

who's father owns some effin big company

  • Someone had a bad day, hm?

  • my ex roommate is a refugee from a war bothered country his whole city was bombed to the grounds

It wasn't luck that brought him to my country, no his feet, hunger and fear carried him 3'000 miles here. He worked hard and it aint his ego that needs to be pushed.

People like you probably feel relieved if they can blame it on luck, if their life doesn't work out they way they wished for.

If it makes you feel better, yeah live on in this delusion.

Imagine if op is one of those people that has a 1st world problem like their printer won't work because it's low so they blame it on the world lol

  • luck indeed has a huge part in it but it's really naïve to assume everything we get is through luck and really freaking insulting to everyone who has shed their blood sweat and tears to get where they are. Life is a mix of luck and our own hard work, luck is not the only thing that push us forward or else we wouldn't have all this amazing inventions we have right now.

Though this post sounds more personal, I hope you will feel better soon op maybe talk it out with someone close or u can even do it here I'm sure that there were be plenty of people who will listen to u here

Stupid comment and doesn't even invalidate my point.

Not everyone is going to get the chance like Your roommate did. She was still extremely lucky to even get the chance.

I was born with abusive parents, my mental health is destroyed and beyond repair and I can't afford therapy. never got the chance to get a degree, nobody paid for me. I applied everywhere and got rejected. I suffer from severe anxiety panic attack and depression. have been trying to get a job for 4 years with no luck, always rejected, because I am ugly. Even no luck in working in sales.

So you are telling I got all of these problems because I didn't work hard!! Should I wait for my village to get bombed!!

  • You assumed my gender and his gender.

First i am a guy and so is my roommate and with no word i told you "to wait for your village to get bombed"

I am sorry you have accumulated so much bad expiriences. I also grew up with abusive parents, actually a lot of us do. We all carry our bags of garbage around.

Finding a job can be a challenge, i assume you're from india since you mentioned mumbai, and in such a large country it must be even harder.

In no way i wanted to look down on your suffering. But i think it is wrong to let negativity consume you to the point that you're trying to make others feel bad.

If you need help, please try to get some, there are many free hotlines in every country, you can call.

We in here probably won't be able to give you the help you need.

I wish you all the best for your future and a job that you can enjoy, as well as a partner you can lean on and trust.
