I would say Exo will probably have sold the least of the 4 (Even though Exo's numbers are really really good). BTS probably, but it's an expensive single album, so it's hard to gauge how it will do besides extremely well. Seventeen and NCT have a chance if that single album doesn't sell as massively as a regular album/EP from BTS would.

not sure about armys plans on the single album with 2 songs imma be surprised if it sells 1.5m-2m.

I checked and it seems single albums are eligible for the win. In 2015, BIGBANG released 4 single albums and 'M' was nominated for the quarter album award. Their single album had 2 singles + 2 instrumentals.

So if the rules are the same and if the Butter single somehow sells more than other albums released in 3rd quarter, then BTS could win.
