For me, the reason why i love Izone is not their music. I mean, i love many of their performances but the music itself is hit or miss (i like a few of their B sides a lot more than their titles) .
But I stan them for their personalities and fanservice. I miss their variety show appearances and bts videos the most. As long as the dumbass labels allow them to do Insta lives together when they have time and want to do them, that is the one thing that will eventually assuage my rage at Yueloser and Starshit.
Not completely, of course. Because of their and Msnake's dumbassery, we will never see IZ'Messes on variety shows, we will never see another episode of Eating Trip, we will never see another episode of Enozicam. We will never see Hyeyul getting engaged and getting married

I think I'm very similar in that in order for me to be a fan i have to connect with the group beyond merely their music (obviously I need to like their music to begin with) but then it's always the personalities that draw me in
It was the same with IOI and now izone that although i only got in after they debuted (and in IOI's case long after they already disbanded) that it was their personalities their connection with each other that makes me a fan...
