I’ve seen some people wearing masks in shops and for medical purposes, but it’s not compulsory in my town as we don’t have any cases. It’s just the usual palava of hand sanitizers and sign ins which is such a pain,

I believe it isn't mandatory when you are out in open. However, it's still mandatory to wear it when you enter a store.
I would assume it applies to cafes as well but whenever I pass by one I never see people wearing masks regardless of whether they are inside or outside so I guess it's one of the rules that are there but are not being enforced -
On June 2nd, restrictions will be lifted for Ohio. But people in my city are already walking around with them but I will see we have a high vaccination rate here too.

yep, $300 fine if not, but tbh some classmates in school like to wear their mask below their nose in general or pull down their mask to talk(what is the fking point of the mask then...srsly), and teachers just ignore, which is find really annoying, but in public 99.9% of the people wear mask properly and honestly i wont even dare to remove my mask when im jogging in the park

Most people wear them here. You don't get fined if you don't wear them though. An establishment can kick you out, but most don't do anything because some people can be "medically exempt" and don't legally need to provide proof of that.
Every so often there's an anti-masker who supposedly has a medical condition, usually accompanied by another person who also has a medical condition.
A lot of people don't wear them correctly though. The amount of noses I've seen over loose, wrinkly cloth masks is alarming.
