  • y'all, stop with youtube records. youtube will filter views; wait for the official confirmation

People got into this habit of claiming records early for this exact reason, although I think the practice might have outlived its usefulness. Originally, ARMY would claim records early because media would pick up on that and report the number that ARMY gave. Then if/when YouTube deleted views and provided a lower number, that number wouldn't gain much traction in the media because the media was already reporting the higher number. So it was done for a strategic reason a couple years ago but I don't think it's really necessary or useful at this point.

all fans do it, not only army; they do it because they are proud of their achievements.

and yes, it's useless now, youtube will confirm the views anyway, it's bts :)

I know. I was just giving some history about ARMY specifically. I'm a Twitter ARMY and I was there when we decided to do it so I was just explaining why the practice started because we used to be strict on Twitter about waiting for official confirmation.
