Gg sales pie chart looks like twice took a big bite of the pie.

iโm not sure you get what i said, bc the example you gave me is only one scenario out of infinite possible outcomes. In many scenarios, Aโs increase will get their piece of the pie (their percentage) bigger, while in many other scenarios Aโs piece will decrease like the eg i gave, which is exactly my point. Itโs not a guarantee that A will grow their pie piece. Itโs a possibility, not a surefire outcome.
My whole initial post was just to dispute what you said in the op: โWith the trend of their latest comebacks being their best selling albums it's only gonna grow bigger.โ bc itโs not true. Twiceโs increase in sales could definitely grow their piece of the pie, but they could also potentially have it shrink, bc again itโs not a guarantee like your post implied. Thatโs it
Exactly what I was tryna say. It's a probablity. Them remarks about me not knowing statistics hurt me wee feelings whi. We basically saying the same thing but from different ends of the spectrum. That's all.

Their sales were so good. They should've just left them as it is.
-
they now make 29% of the pie,
their sales in the future 10M +x
other sales in the future 24.31 +y
their part will be (10+x/34.31+y+x)*100, and it has to be more than 29% if they gonna go bigger
so far 1000 + 100x > 994.99 + 29x + 29y
5.01+71x>29y
71x>29y - 5.01
x > 29y - 5.01/71 if this inequality is kept their pie slice will get bigger
later part is almost negligible so x > 29y/71, if they can sell more than 41% of all the remaining ggs combined sales they will get bigger in pie chart tho

Math thread

40% wont go down to 39% just because of the net of 1 million lead to other ggs. Why? Because at the end of the day the increase has to be relative to the total album sales by all ggs.
Twice will go down from 40% from that 1 million, sure I agree but say the total album sales of all ggs in 2022 is around 40 million, then 2.5% of the album will be occupied by that 1 million increase but not entirely from Twice's section of the pie because groups with stagnant sales i.e. disbanded groups will also lose a bit of territory as a result.
Conclusion: I dont fucking know, fractions used to calculate the chart changes whenever the denominator ie total sales of ggs changes
-
if it is less than 41% of all the other ggs combined it will get smaller
Exactly my point. I should have put up a formula at the start of the thread.

OP doesn't understand basic math apparently lmao.
