i think out of those, dolphin is the strongest contender. it’s still charting really high and while it might not have had huge numbers on the chart, it’s longevity gives the other songs a run for their money
Nonstop and even Dolphin are charting higher than HYLT but BP song had a bigger initial impact plus a whole album with 1M sales which gives extra points for SOTY.
LSG is having a good stability but it was release too late to be elegible for award shows even with a nomination it wouldn’t have won because Dynamite was too strong.
HIP and Psycho were big but not to challenge songs such as Anysong, Eight And Dynamite. Also people didn’t even bother to vote for them after being so loud about deserving to win.

i really don't know if its fair to count the weeks you chart in 2021 for your 2020 result though, with that logic Rollin might end up being the biggest song of 2017.

Did psycho really got outperformed by EIght ? Of course it has less #1 cz the monster any song was dominating the first quarter but i think it has way more gaon points no?

Eight has more digital points over 1B still gaining over 10M each week. Psycho couldn’t reach 800M and it’s not charting anymore.

It was a huge hit but Cheer up was the biggest song of 2016 in Korea not only for boygroups.
With that logic (not counting the song's performance after it's release year), songs that got released at the end of the year (around Q4) will have a massive disadvantage no matter what then. Also, 'Spring Day' is considered as the biggest Idol song of 2017 mainly bcs of its longevity post-2017, otherwise other song like Twice-Knock knock or Winner-Really Really should take the title imo.

i don't think songs should be restricted to compete for 1 year, for example rollin should compete for 2021 and Psycho and Blueming for 2020
