Someone asked why am I darker compared to the rest of my family (meaning the rest of the females). I've bought a variety of skin bleaching products when I was young.

When I tell you my jaw dropped, It hit the core of the earth. I never saw that person again but damn, this thread made me remember that comment. It was in front of atleast 10 people. I don't know why I felt so embarrassed.

As an asian man that grew up in a society that tried to be as fair skinned as possible i actually prefer a woman with a nice tan now.

Or even brown skin, i think it looks healthy, glowy and just really sexy

My boyfriend and I met a Korean girl on a language exchange app a while ago, she actually came to visit us and was so lovely and when we were having dinner she said I had a ‘small face’ and I found this hilarious because I didn’t realize at the time it was a compliment and I just thought I had a ridiculously small face

It’s quite funny out of context, but when I googled it I realised how much of a compliment it was

She was from Busan and couldn’t believe that I had green eyes and my boyfriends eyes are really blue, she was really cute and I miss her

It's not really one specific comment, but throughout my teens and 20s, strangers alternated thinking I was way younger than my age OR was my sister's mom...... (She's less than 5 years younger)
