Here's a theory of mine I had posted a few days ago:
So if we play this little mystery game....so far I think RM is the detective (interrogation lamp), JK is a witness (kept pointing fingers), Jin discovered the crime (he let go of the balloons in shock), and Yoongi is an accomplice/suspect (destroyed the camera film which might of had evidence)

(Apparently) I'm a well known clownmy and I'm very good at coming up with theories. As we wait for Butter content to drop, let's share theories with each other.1) A murder plot
Hear me out, a murder happened at an underground disco club party. Murder weapon is hidden in a tub of butter. Namjin are the cops. Jin with those balloons is trying to connect the dots and understand the relationship between the suspects. RM with the red confetti popper is recreating blood splatter pattern. Jimin, Hobi, and JK are witnesses/bystanders and they were just drinking, eating toast, and lollipop when the murder happened. Tae is the culprit. The way he drops those candies has an ominous vibe to it; it's like he KNOWS something. Yoongi is on Tae's side. He might work for the cops as on the forensic team but he is Tae's friend and he accidentally witnessed the murder. He is seen destroying crime scene photos.
2) Mafia boss
My next theory is inspired by this edit. Jin is the mafia boss. He gives off massive mafia boss energy. He looks like he would shoot someone dead, toss the gun aside, and then complain he got blood on his white shirt (DO YOU ALL SEE MY VISION). So my theory is that Jin is trying to hide his mafia boss identity from his everyday girlfriend. He brings balloons to the girlfriend's son's soccer game or something. At night, he runs an underground crime syndicate. The other boys are associates. Maybe they sell narcotics hidden in butter.

4) Ocean's Seven
This one is pretty popular already since the teaser photo dropped. That sleek, night time Havana casino vibe gives off major heist movie vibe. Flex those Rolexes boys. They slide in smooth like butter and slide out with $20b. Rob the music industry boys, you deserve it.
5) IPO concept
This theory is inspired by myaza from the teaser thread. Bread and butter is a metaphor for money. The boys looking sleek and rich, so it's all about them flexing baby. See that M&A over there? Just my new ride. Oh that IPO really buttered up my net worth.
