What makes someone become an antifan aka hater

Genuine question what makes hate a group so much that you start posting hatful stuff about them , usually when i don't like a group's music or whatever i just don't follow them or their content

I feel like people live too vicariously through their faves in those cases. Their ego inflates and the jealousy rises. Thus making everything a hostile competition where they can gloat and pretend their faves success is their own.
