If I could tell you the amount of Ariana covers I see from KPOP idols nnn, all her popular songs get covered, from Bang Bang, Greedy(!!), 7 Rings, Dangerous Woman, Santa Tell Me, etc.
Why is she easily the most popular female artist among KPOP idols and in Korea especially when that's not the case in other parts of the world?

Because she’s one of the most talented artists of this generation. She has the voice of an angel. Truly blessed. Not to mention her music is revolutionary and she is beautiful on the inside and out. Ari is the embodiment of an icon in my opinion

Ariana is the most popular American female artist and kpop idols take a lot of inspiration in American music. But honestly it has to so with the type of music she releases, her music is very commercial so it appeals to many people. and her image is very appealing as well.
