Kpop fans, and fans in general are hyper competitive, and any competition, or even comparisons rarely end well because of the belief that their faves are better, and the other group is not. Kinda human nature. Your group is better. The opposition sucks.

Group bashing isn’t good or very sporting. It’s childish and annoying but goes with the territory.

This. The problem isn’t people hating on groups, the problem is majority of fandoms are hypocrites.

We should be able to discuss groups on a kpop forums regardless if it’s a positive or negative comment. Fandoms just need to accept that and stop being so defensive. Conversation is good, but calling people antis and resorting to personal attacks is the problem on this forum (not ppl bashing groups)

I think people in that troll thread about BP, who were dragging/shading the group need to read this.

There’s also another sub-group of people from fandoms (each are loggerheads at) whose intentions seems like outright shading. There’s a difference between “I dislike the music because I’m not a fan of retro-pop, so hence I do not like XX music and find they do not have quality music” versus “XX does not have quality music” (that has a strong implication that XX never had and will never have quality music). I’m also mocking these groups where they claim they are fairly criticising but obvious the implications are shading. The hypocrisy would also be appalling when the tables are flipped and they will be singing an obviously different tune.
