Should award shows allow Rolling to be nominated for soty?

award shows have nomination period right? I am pretty sure they consider songs in the period only. So rolling may not be nominated atleast in known kpop based shows.

Unfortunately, the Korean award show only has that 1 year period as usual. I think maybe they can give them a new award like the Viral song award for example. AAA always comes up with something new even their daesang (not shading any winner here).

Sadly Korean award shows have different guidelines than American award shows.

But it would be nice if one of them did a change and allowed Rollin to win SOTY! It would give other older/underexposed songs a chance to have a second life!

For once, i hope SOTY will awards the best song and not the most popular. Popularity doesn't mean quality. (What I'm saying is not an attack on Brave girls, I really appreciate their "Rolling" music, I was saying that in a very general way)

I think it should.. as long as a song didn’t win before I think it should be nominated

yes it should !! the award is called song of the year and so far rollin definitely is.

It wouldn't be fair. Following that logic dynamite by bts would be sweeping soty for the next five years and the competition of album of the year would be bts vs bts vs bts every year
