One of my kitten is missing

  • I have 3 kittens btw.

The kitten who is missing was a little active one. He often goes to the roof and then went somewhere else but always came back in few hours. We tried our best that he doesn't leave the house but since we have guava tree in home, he always climbed the tree to reach the roof and then jump into other people's roofs.

Me and my family went outside to buy some stuffs yesterday which were urgent. The other 2 kittens were in the home so we locked them in a room but he went away somewhere. It was 7 p.m and we're having lockdown by 8 p.m in our city so we were in a rush and didn't wait for him and left. We came back by 8:00 p.m but he didn't come back, its been over 17 hours and he still hasn't come. Right now, weather is looking like its going to rain heavily with lightning so I'm more worried.

I feel bad that I shouldn't have left home like that. What if he came back and didn't find us and left again somewhere else? Other kittens were also locked so he probably couldn't see them either. I'm feeling so guilty, all the kittens are just a year old and they're so small that they won't be able to fight with any other big cats. I don't know what to do, as time is passing more, I'm getting more worried.

    This is him

  • i hope ur cat will come back soon :peperain: and he looks quite big and strong :lovec: i think he could defend himself in case he gets into a fight with other cats :pepelove1:

I'm losing hope as more time is passing by. I just hope he's alive somewhere.

He's not that big, he's actually the thinnest among the 3 kittens. It's probably looking like he's big in pic but stray cats here are 3 times bigger than him.

And he's been attacked by them numerous times as well. We often hear his screams from somewhere far whenever he left, that's why we tried our best to make him not leave the house but we couldn't control him.

  • I hope you get your cat back. My cat went missing for a week once but she turned up again. I was frantic and went looking all through the neighbourhood calling for her and thinking the worst. Cats go walkabout but will usually turn up when they know there’s food and a good home.

I looked around all the neighborhood as well and no one has seen him. I hope he comes back like you said but the thing is there are so many wild stray cats and dogs in this neighborhood so I'm not sure if he can survive them.

I hope you can find your cat soon and he isn't harmed in anyway out there.

Thank you, I just want him to come back all healthy. My eyes are stuck on the roof since he's gone. I hope he's safe.

  • That's terrible, I'm so sorry.

Keep looking and don't give up hope.

Last year my cat, who I have had for twelve years, disappeared. I looked everywhere, asked all of my neighbours to check their gardens, put posters everywhere with a large monetary reward, etc.

I found her a week later - a house two doors from me was empty and for sale, and I had been trying to get in touch with the owners the entire week. They finally let me take a look and I found my cat in the back yard. She couldn't jump back over the wall to come home. She hadn't eaten for a week, so she was very thin and weak, but otherwise she was fine.
