Honestly I don't know, their positions are a little weird, but maybe it is because the sub vocalists don't get as many lines as the main vocalists. Like less than normal lead vocalists.

Official positions are irrelevant most of the time anyway. If you can't tell a member's position based on what you see and what you hear, then it means those positions are meaningless. And if you can tell a member's position based on what you see and what you hear, then there's no need for them to be stated officially.
When it comes to (G)I-DLE, I think Soojin and Yuqi are lead vocals, and Soyeon even since she has full verses just like the others. The only member than can be labeled as a sub vocalist is Shuhua and it's pretty obvious to everyone imo.
