Try Nizoral and use sulfate-free shampoos sulfate can irritate the scalp a lot.

Ever used Selsun Blue before? I used to use it just because the tingling sensation feels amazing, especially during the warmer seasons.
It seems like your scalp isn't producing or maintaining enough sebum to keep your scalp moisturized. It was mentioned already about getting fatty acids through food, but I don't think anyone mentioned applying fatty oils like coconut, jojoba, or extra virgin olive oil directly to your scalp.
Depending on your hair texture, you'll have to figure out when's the best time to apply it (pre-shampoo/after shampoo) and if you should leave it on your scalp or wash it completely out.

This summer I bought a new shampoo. I washed head with it twice and then I had dandruff which I couldn`t get rid of. On Canadian pharmacy I read about medications on herbs that relieve dandruff and oiliness of the scalp. It really helped me get rid of my problem and also gave more shine to my hair. I am really happy so I regularly repeat the procedure for prevention

I used to never have dandruff until one time when I had big chunks of it every time I showered/washed my hair. I tried almost everything I could afford on the market and the only thing that worked, and that I still use to this day as a prevention, is tea tree oil. Just add a couple of drops to your shampoo, and it should work.
There are many causes of dandruff, but I think most common ones are (and probably one of these was what caused it to me): changing your shampoo, hard water and stress.
