If this Blasian half Korean beauty were a kpop idol, they’d be kissing her feet

I don’t think you get it.
South Korea is the 2nd most homogeneous country in the world. Koreans & kpop fans see beautiful people in kpop all of the time.
A half Korean blasian kpop idol doesn’t fit that homogeneous image that is embedded into SK entertainment. They don’t have to stand out in a talent. They just have to be conveniently pretty and represent the non represented. That’s it.
Okay, i can't really deny your point too.

oh, makes sense! i definitely agree w/ you. and yeah, you bring up a good point by comparing how white + korean idols are treated compared to black idols. for some reason, these companies view them as more foreign and exotic while wasian idols are more accepted and treated more like like fully korean or asian idols. it's so horrible and they shouldn't be exploited like that just because of their race and features.

“If you say so” is a dismissive / passive aggressive statement where I am from. It gives the impression that what I am saying is illegitimate / biased and insignificant.
Lemme just say, there are no active half black idols. I just feel it is wrong for you to expect significant talent from those who you THINK exist, yet do not.
Kpop idols regularly debut with mediocre talent. This includes half white idols. Somi, Nancy, Vernon, etc. debuted with average talent, just like most of every fully Korean idol. So why do you expect a half black idol to have more? -

I actually look from blasian model, mc, and singers in sk since we don't have any idols example yet.
Also the reason why i expect her to be talented is because in Asia (at least in my place) there is still a bad prejudice against black people and i just think if she is actually talented then she can be recognized as an artist too and in turn actually help her to blow up. Yes many half white idols have average talent but they usually have positive reactions due to the fact that they're half white alone, they don't face prejudice as bad as black or blasian people.
Again it's fine you don't agree with what i'm just saying since this is just what i think.

Black kpop fans. Knetz. Randoms folks. They would all LOVE her. Her facial features fit the Korean beauty standard. Hell, she’s objectively beautiful no matter what your standards are.
So why is a certain company insist on debuting Alex’s and Fatou’s? Publicity????? Hence why neither of them blew up. Hence why nobody takes them seriously. They’re high key in the same boat as Lana, despite SJW outrage. Get real.
Tracy would BLOW UP. Doesn’t matter if her blow up was domestically or not. She’d still get hella hyped.
So why is an agreeable pretty half black half Korean like her so hard to find to debut? WHY????? What is taking so long???? She doesn’t even reside in Korea. Therefore we know beautiful half black Korean’s are out there. Tf is the hold up? That’s what I wanna know
She's too fat.

They would probably pass her dust like everyone is doing Lee Michelle

What is more important is the culture.
Korea has Insooni, who is treated as a veteran singer.
If this person lived in Korea and is accustomed to Korean culture the Korean public would accept her like Han Hyunmin (half Nigerian).
But she grew up under a different culture and would not act like such, which is why the Korean people would find it hard to accept her.

Since she is not advertising her origin too often not too many people know that.

I think Koreans will like this girl if she debuts as an idol. Her name is park Jenny she is under Esteem model a subsidiary of SM. If she tries to become an idol under SM people will probably say SM is trying to make their own Jenny coz of the name and kinda similar vibe.

At least those who care about 'representation' should look into history.
But then, Tasha is not of the "woke" generation, which uses identity for everything, the early generations wanted to transcend identity barriers by their art and abilities, so rather underplay their identity.
