Only 8 true GG songs in 9 months since that chart began, plus 2 GG songs that were released in the Stone Age and one temporary GG project song. Add in all the Kpop boy group songs (Dyna and LGO) and you basically have 10 Kpop group songs that have made it in the top 10 of Melon in 9 months. That's legit terrible. Kpop groups deserve way better than this from Korea.

Hwaa can barely be considered as it lasted inside top10 for 1 hour. Kpop is not really big in SK. Just look at how bad big3 boy groups chart.
problem is just two groups - BTS, and Blackpink have outgrown industry in terms of gp recognition inside Korea
but it's also similar to this in other countries isn't it?
if Oh My Girl and Brave Girls didn't get their "15 minutes" gold opportunity and moment then this list would look even more miserable.
