for the OP, sometimes it's best to consider stepping back and letting angry dumbass responses (not to be confused with honest and direct responses) run their course before stepping back into it. you may find someone defending and arguing for you by the time you return or finding that you may have gained a new insight or view. it doesn't mean you have to give up, if you believe in something strongly, make the argument with sound logic instead of emotional reactions. warnings aren't issued for logical arguments.
