    She's a living proof of how much big groups usually hurt the idols' individuality. There's just so many people, It gets harder for the company to distribute opportunities and build each member's individual narrative to showcase their real potential.

    I saw this earlier and yes, I was already happy for her, but seeing how many people did their best to help her made me look at her so differently like how amazing must you be that others did so much for you in your debut?

    She is someone who people in the industry wants to see succeed and this says so much about her personality. Truly an incredible woman with a strong force!!

    How many physical albums did she sell? Because if she can't sell albums and then no touring power, then she basically has no long term music career.

    I think they "allowed" her in the sense that she might have been responsible for a good proportion of the costs involved...


    at this point it's basically a given that SSE has "given up" or rather not actively manage/support the WSJN's musical careers - therefore Dayoung did this all herself to prove a point or to show SSE that she can succeed so hopefully she will comeback with a bigger budget next time lol

    Unsure, if I will fully call it backing, when she had to secretly prepare for her debut :sweat: They extended WJSN and the only content we've got so far is a Seola solo that performed well and nothing ever since. Then we got Dayoung's solo. So, in 3 years we only 2 WJSN releases, but unsure if desire is there for all members to have music out since some of them are into acting.


    I guess we should thank Starship for giving her the green light to have it available digitally. However, it's clear Starship most likely lost a lot of money when they have the hottest female solo act at the moment, and no physical copies to sell. I'm unsure if people buy kpop music digitally, but I think she would've moved a lot of units if there was a physical album. I know I would've bought a copy ^^
