BigHit Music new BG name revealed....

I feel companies create wacky names to get people talking. Unsure how a company as big as Hybe will come up with a name like that.

You know, these wacky names sound crazy to us non-Korean folks.

But, when I read the Korean responses, no one thought this name was weird lol.

Just shows the difference.

I have waiting for this for months and they are finally debuting in 10-11 days .

I think the funny part of this whole name reveal is that, it's right there this entire time but we just didn't know that it .

Is it me or are they aiming to sound a bit like Travis Scott with autotune hooks and verses. I don't think this will be received well, but I am not too familiar with boy group audience but it feels like they should be giving us more

I've read tweets saying this, despite never listening to one of his songs. That aside, it was... underwhelming, to say the least. Especially for the claim that it's "something that hasn't been done in K-pop before" 🙄

They better hope their title track is much better because I can see this group flopping. I am unsure if this is what kpop fans want. Not to start another conversation but I feel they're teetering a bit too much sounding like an American hip hop song. When it gets that close, it's going to make international fans say "why not listen to American hip hop instead" In this case Travis Scott is somewhat unique and many will just go to him instead of an imitation. Not trying to be harsh there, but it's the reality if trying to get international fans.

Hopefully, the title track is much better and not imitating too hard because you don't want to carry that narrative for a group imo.

If things go badly, BigHit might be in for a revamp like KOZ (yes, I know people say staff left voluntarily, but it seems... off, that they left after BND's debut).
