People aren't mad about it because DIVEs aren''t that crazy to scream plagiarism over everything.

Also, IVE themselves are playing into it, this would only benefit IVE as some people who might not know I AM might check the song out as well

The more accurate term is "I AM" sounds like "GOLDEN" and both sounds like "Primadonna by Marina"

DIVES may not scream plagiarism, but all you can see is they're posting "I AM" videos and mention the song everywhere.

That's kinda the same thing imo.

That's why I'm fed up now. I can't scroll on Insta without seeing KDH and IVE mentions in the same video. At first I was okay with it because most people only know the latest songs, but now it's actually irritating.

I really wish the structure of the song was slightly different or released before I AM because it deserves credit

But it really sounds very much like I AM and I think is quite hard to argue against this. Since it is just for a movie I think it definitely matters less but it could've been a bigger moment in kpop than it is now

Having said that, i don't like I Am but i like Golden. So there you go.

There's nothing surprising in artists not hearing other artists' works. They focus on their work, not others. That's why the prestige and the illusionist, films about stage magicians, were released in the same year. Both film were being in development for a long time and release date has been set a while ago.

Similar chord progression and it's a known fact Starship sampled Primadonna.

It's just that song is from 2012 and much slower, I AM and GOLDEN are the up-to-date versions basically, and more upbeat.

People aren’t mad about it because people are taking it as a compliment if KPDH has referenced any of the groups. In fact fans are fighting tooth and nail to claim so and so song by their fav was referenced lol.
