And they aren't idols...much the same way PSY was not an idol, but was the epitome of Kpop. His roster have sort of a quirky individualism that sort of mimics what he did with his career.

While it probably doesn't make as much money as having an idol group would, I think PSY carved out a place in Kpop for his type of artist.

It would be a mistake if he tried to do the whole idol thing.

He's working with JYP on a survival show in which he's going to create a boy group, but it's more likely to be a hip-hop crew than a stereotypical idol group. And he does have trainees of both sexes at P Nation.

He already has Jessi, Hyuna and Heize
