I know that, and knowing Soyeon when they were recording she insisted for vocal parts to sound in certain way.
You can even say that we can hear that rookies are singing in a way that usually Idle members are singing.

If I closed my eyes, I would've thought this was Idle because someone sounds way too similar to Soyeon. I'm not sure if that's intentional (maybe it is, since Soyeon basically produced this group) but I hope it's just a one-time thing if that's the case. Soyeon's vocal tone is not widely love. It's high-pitched, nasal and sharp that can come off as grating or screechy depending on the song. That kind of tone doesn't really suit a wide range of tracks, and it’s not ideal to train another girl to have that as her vocal foundation.
As for the song itself... it's average. It sounds like something you'd expect from Idle, but it's missing that catchiness they usually have in songs like Tomboy or Queencard.

It's a possibly that they could change their sound later on, since this is P-Nation and if you listen or know TNX, they change their sound like very comeback

It's not bad, but nothing special. It's like your average Pop-Rock song with a good vibe. It won't showcase their vocal skills, tho. The Chorus is kinda bland, and even the Bridge didn't stand out for me.
