I think the issue is 4th gen is still going strong and certain 4th gen groups haven't hit their primes yet. I think that's a key reason why it feels like 5th gen is missing something

Like you could take a big 4 group and a nugu company group with the same concept and clearly tell them apart, just by styling alone.

So far with concepts I think they're aiming to make groups feel more relatable. It must be why we're seeing lower budget concepts and not many out of the ordinary concepts. I don't want to brng them up but I have to. I think it feels like companies got the wrong message about what worked with NewJeans and are using that in how they present their groups.

5th gen music sounds worse than ai generated stuff

I didn’t like riize last comeback title song but they feel less nugu than h2h imo

I feel like a lot of sm girlgroups don’t have any charisma at debut but improve by time. But h2h direction seems bland so idk if they’ll be able to show it
