The reasons why Uji, Hyeyeon and Haeryung left EXID and then re-debuted as BESTie are still a mystery over a decade later. Some speculated back then that the girls had contracts through different companies even though they were in the same group, but who really knows?
I was thrilled to see EXID rise and happy they're still performing today. I lament that BESTie lost all momentum after 2014, the same year EXID rose.

Tbh I love discovering more info where there is a connection between idols etc, I love exid, I knew them the moment they hit big, after this thread I'll actually search more about their old music.

I just feel like LE, Hani and Solji don’t get their flowers for what they kind if created. (Hyerin and Junghwa are my favorites for their voices but Solji started as their VOCAL COACH, Hani was an it girl for like as long as Jennie, and LE literally invented them)

They were 3rd gen gems indeed. I still remember the day that Hani fancam went viral randomly. Shit had me in a mild chokehold I cant lie. Even content wise they had just as much crackhead energy back in the days as G-Idle (especially Hyerim & Jeonghwa.)
