Not true. Hanteo and Circle counts every album sales all-around the world, except the ones that are not supported by them. It's easy to see, because you can't see the Hanteo or Circle logo on the website.
Maybe what you read is about a combined number for her 2 albums.

They literally dont.. Hanteo counts the shops its works with.. same for circle.. I dont think website sales are counted or sales from countries like UK/America.
Circle basically counts sales from Asia and even that I wouldnt really say is fully true. I dont think Website sales are counted at all, dont think billboard sales really counted either/.
The ones not supported by them are basically all non asian charts and retailers, artist website sales.

Circle is different, they only count shipment that actually arrived! That's why their numbers are much lower.
Why are you talking about Billboard and Charts in general? It has nothing to do with physical sales. Billboard doesn't sell Kpop albums. They're counting them just like Hanteo or Circle.
I don't want to write a whole book about this, there are a lot of articles explaining how Hanteo and Circle works, much better than I could do.
I've seen a LOT of Kpop fans using this argument that Hanteo and Circle only include Korean sales, but it's not true at all. It's a GLOBAL chart, not Korean chart!

The is probably, because they're not western artists, they only have a partnership with Western labels. So all of their sales are still counted in Korea.
