They were a mid-tier group. They had a fanbase and decent physical sales.

They were not Big 3 massive but they were just below them. They were multi platinum in Japan and were very loved in South Korea.
For example, Baby Soul's solo works when she started going by her legal name are some of the most successful Korean independent albums of the last couple years, there were a few other members who went solo or did acting but she was the most successful of the 8.
Ryu Sujeong is a close second I would say based off sales alone, and she appears on a lot of variety shows to this day.
Jisoo went to college for a couple years after the disbandment but she ended up not finishing her film directing degree.
Yein signed to Sublime, the same label as Jackson Wang, Tiffany from SNSD, Hyeri from Girls Day and Hani from EXID.
Kei signed to Stone Music Entertainment to do OSTs and ballads.
Jin signed to an acting agency and has announced her official logo and should have new music coming soon. She was the second to debut solo in 2013 and had EXO members in her music video.
However, the group has been announced as taking the route that Kara has, and they have renounced their disbandment and are now an active group again, with them now having two Season's Greetings releases in addition to their recent singles
