They would have thrived in current gen now that love for GGs and originality is much bigger. Every non big3 GG was payed dust in 3rd gen even if they charted well.

It wasn't a smash hit, but it made people start paying more attention to WJSN (domestically and internationally).
IMO, Secret is the reason that WJSN was able to promote for so long. Especially with all the Chinese members doing a sort of exodus lol.

I think it was so underappreciated, nowadays that people crave for originality and listenable music from girl groups it would be way better received than it was back then, look how everyone tuned to kiiikiii, I wish wjsn had the same opportunity

I feel like Secret was one of those hidden gems. Kind of like After School by Weeekly and Shine by Pentagon.
Everyone agreed those were amazing songs that should have received more attention and hype, and they are KPOP classics even though they didn't receive half the success they should have.
