I'm pleasantly surprised with Jisoo. Her team is doing a great job so far and the fact she wrote all these songs just makes me ser her in a whole new light. She is such a hard worker! I love her!!

Earthquake 10/10 tt material! It's a great opener for her album, the vibe is perfect, I really enjoyed how different it's from Flower! Both are masterpieces btw. Her vocals are nice, it matched her voice and I'm looking forward to the choreo.

Tears 10/10 such a nice and beautiful song! I love the message behind it.

Your Love 10/10 her vocals are on point, the vibe, the melody, everything in this song is heavenly.

Hughes and Kisses 10/10 and my fave bside for now. The message is everything, I love her confidence while singing it and it's super catchy!

Overall her EP while short, is so cohesive, so fitting to her. It's so kpop!! I missed this in their solos. I can see how successful this era will be. She is just making right choices ever since getting out of YGE. I appreciate her vocals soooo much, her high notes in the background of the songs is satisfying! She said she put her heart onto it and I can see it. She didn't choose things randomly, on contrary, even though she was so busy she still took time to give us such amazing songs, everything felt 10000% planned!! 10/10!

  • Even though it's short, it's rare that I like every song on an album, but Jisoo managed to deliver on all 4. I love EDM so it was pretty much a given that I'd love it, I wouldn't mind if this is the majority of her sound going forward. My only complaint is that it's not longer.

Favorite track is easily 'Your Love'. The melody, the chorus, and Jisoo's beautiful vocals all blend together perfectly. Honestly it sounds like 100 other songs I've heard before but that's actually why I love it. This type of music is like comfort food for me.

'Tears' is also really good, I love the bridge and chorus. 'Hugs and Kisses' I like a bit less but still a great track. 'Earthquake' is my least favorite but I still think it was a good choice for the TT and the MV is awesome. Gives Whiplash vibes.

Overall I'm blown away by this EP even though it's only 4 songs. It's clear that Jisoo has found her sound and although it's nothing groundbreaking, it's consistent and actually feels like k-pop. I feel like I know what to expect from Jisoo now and will be highly anticipating her next comeback.

  • It looks to be that wrote and recorded some stuff to drop but is working on music very slowly between projects and his essentially holding on to the stuff she didn’t drop yet

  • Before I write my review, I have to say one thing, because I know BLINKS gonna hate me!😂

    I HATE EDM!

Only a handful of artists can make me like this genre, and that's not Jisoo! So, here's my review!

  • still haven't listened to the album, will soon. Here only to support your "i hate edm!" stance. God, i hate edm! Most armys have Magic Shop in their too 10 and there's me, skipping it always. I don't remember the last time i heard it. Just, no.

Only Chungha and Mamamoo can make me listen an EDM without banging my head on the wall, but both of them doing EDM in a different way, and the vocals helps a lot, too! Jisoo's album is just like any other EDM album. Nothing special.

Oh, lord, all 4 songs are EDM  nobody will be surprised if i say that i don't like anything lol

That's why I'm kind of disappointed, I was expecting at least 1 ballad. Honestly, I always said, the laziest thing a musician can do is picking EDM as their main genre. Like, If you're not drunk, what's the point of listening to it? It's club music for a reason.😂

You either give me quality EDM songs like Chungha's "I'm Ready" or Solar's Paradise, or just don't do it at all. That's my standard!
