Honestly, I agree.
I know LSM allegedly had something to do with slave contracts but, kicking him out has cost SM so much, especially, talent! Soon, they'll lose everything that set them apart from other labels and idols in the industry.
People can hate LSM all they want but he kept SM united and on top for decades in all kinds of good and bad ways.
There's something good and bad about everything.

how is it a wrong information when SM Entertaiment shared those details themselves and released their financials.
It's true but the question is how is it true and why they have a decline like that.

Okay, I looked at their income statement quarterly for 2024.
SM’s subsidiaries are always at net loss. The parent company itself always has positive net income.
I will look up to income statement closer tomorrow, but it seems SM is trying to minimise net loss of its subsidiaries. But to cover up those losses Parent company(SM Ent.) needs higher net income, but at quarter 4 they had way less net income compared to net loss of its subsidiaries.
They even got a lot of tax benefit(around 8bn won) for 4th quarter of 2024.
So to sum it up very briefly, parent company(that works with idols, and it’s profits come from physical sales, Concerts, Advertising and etc) generates a lot of profit, but SM’s subsidiaries are leaking too much money that it generates loss. But that loss reduced a little compared to last year.

there's also a problem when SM keeps on debuting new groups each year
Riize and Wish should be combined as 1 group, and now BND stealing riize kfans...
debuting groups like DearAlice and Mytro that gained no significant traction...
and then they have a plan to debut JP gg this year
when they already got H2Hand next year SMNBG that surely will cannibalize riize & wish future even more
Kpop fans keeps shrinking but companies keeps debuting new groups
