tbh I don't think is because of stage presence though Lisa has plenty. You need to watch her solo performances when she is either dancing or rapping. I thought she never lacked any charisma or stage presence in n other collabs either.
The thing is that singing is something new for Lisa, so naturally she might not be super confident. Also Doja and Raje are way more experienced vocalists than Lisa. Reason why I kind of wish she would get to rap more so she can exude that confidence that she has in blackpink that's her forte and dancing. But I'm glad she is challenging herself now with singing
On her own, Lisa has immaculate stage presence! Her solos are gorgeous and fun to watch--the hype she brings is insane!

I explained it has to do more with lisa showing another side that she isn't used to like her singing.

well, Lisa's image in blackpink is usually more fierce/boyish not as girly as it is now. Plus, she is exploring a different side with her solos with new genres she hasn't tried before as well as focusing more on singing. Image wise too. So it's natural she is not gonna be as experienced.
I can be very objective and constructive criticism is more than ok it's just that I genuinely believe some people ( not necessarily you ) are predictable and sort of see things as in a very simplistic way without taking some things into consideration before making a judgment. I
Also, I personally think she matches well with Rosalia and other features she collaborated with

This woman cannot catch a break seriously. Everything she does is wrong, apparently.
Everybody knows that she is not a singer. Hence she collabed with those 2. Nobody is taking away credit from Raye and Doja. Mind you this song wouldn’t see the light of the day if Lisa didn’t buy this song from Raye. In the past few months people were sh*tting on Lisa because her music was bad, now you guys are saying that she shouldn’t be on the track, other 2 girls ate her up, she can’t sing etc. etc. etc….
In the 1st place, why are you guys are holding her on the same level as these solo artists? Also I can’t remember that Lisa was a vocalist of BP?
She did sound good in the track and served face as she can. She collected these 2 gorgeous and talented ladies into 1 room and all of them released this masterpiece.
Raye is also getting her flowers as she should. Many people still didn’t know her including me, but because of this collab I discovered this talented woman. She couldn’t release this song under her label but we have been blessed because Lisa bought this song and added those 2 gorgeous ladys. You guys always act like Lisa committed some crime. If you don’t like her just don’t listen.
I am not sure why kpop fans are so toxic towards Lisa during her solo era. I don't remember this much amount of hate/shade towards her. I feel there's always some type of backhanded compliment towards her or people are extra critical towards her. The song is good and she held her own with two powerhouses. It didn't feel like she was out of place, and was a key person to make the song happen. Also, this collaboration helps out many because there's now more people checking out a talented artists like Raye and Doja Cat.
Hopefully people can be less toxic towards Lisa because it feels mean-spirited how people are acting towards her. We even have people discrediting her popularity and how she's getting brand deals and roles. She's a massive name, so it comes with territory to get opportunities. It's interesting that her solo song reception seems to be more positive with people outside of kpop fandom.

How I wish Lisa tries rapping in her solos.
I always liked to hear her rap in BP songs.
Her vocal ability is quite weak... on the other hand, even after all these years.

Well if we’re ranking the artists in the song by popularity (and the only artist I’ve paid to see was Raye!!) it goes Doja /half step/ Lisa /full step/ Raye
Id say the other two are known fir their vocals though so of course. That being said Monster is my favorite Kanye song…. Def not fot him. Same with All of the Lights
