I remember when DD dropped very vividly.

It was the first time a 4th gen girl group really had a significant hit song, signaling that a generational shift was even possible. At the time, it felt like 3rd gen would rule forever.

It wasn't until 2022 that 4th generation girl groups officially took charge, and that was one of aespa's weakest years.

Sooyoung is a dumb who hates on any other gg when Aespa has the upper hand so I'm not surprised with his lies and rewriting stories as he does it every year, but yes, I'm not saying Aespa is a flop, but it's obvious who had the first 4th gen hit and it was in 2019.
