2023-2024= 4.75 gen begins with Illit, Baemon, Kissoflife, Izna, Meow
2025 will be the beginning of 5th gen.

I believe debut of SM new gg is what marks the beginning of the generation. IF this is a new gg, then yes. We are officially in the fifth gen. Fourth was short and sweet

Sorry but I do think 2023 ushered in 5th gen. I can agree with there being a 4.5 gen but a 4.75? Please be serious, those groups are 5th gen.

Honestly I agree
KIOF, BM and Illit feel more like a 4.5 Gen than actual 5th Gen 
I feel like SM got it right though with 2 2nd gen gg a 4 year gap 1 3rd gen gg 6 years later 1 4th gen gg 5 years later 1 5th gen gg etc they seem to be the only big company staying faithful with K-pop generations which is outdated imo lol

I try to shoot it down, but it hard to get people on board. But it will not last much longer, ithe concept will cruble very soon because fans try to make them shorter and shorter.
