I'm not saying it's 100% accurate, but the stats are from YT, so...

Also, if only just the HALF of the numbers are true, it's still crazy. I just don't get the it. I mean, I would get it if Babymon is just a random group that can't do the bare minimum, and they need a massive promotion, but they're not like that.

I'm just saying they are a kinda crappy source and no the numbers they are providing aren't all directly from YT. The site assumes that any view that does not appear on YT charts top 100 is a "non-organic" view. However, a song could hypothetically be ranked 101 and not visible to the public. In this case, they are just assuming it's all ad views, which is stupid.

That's not how the site works, you can read everything on their page. Also, anyone who trust Youtube is naive as well. 😂

Almost everyone, not just Kpop agencies using YT ads, but Youtube won't tell you the exact facts because that would be a breach of contract. Youtube actually post a tweet about this platform and said, they can't confirm it's actually true, because it's a 3rd party site. That was all what they said about this, and many people thought they debunked the site, but that's nothing like that.

Most of the data on that site comes from YT, and the rest is based on a system they wrote. So I'd say it's like 80% accurate. But as I said, even if it's just 50% accurate, the numbers are beyond crazy.

I did read it, and what I said is how the site claims to work.

Consequently, a decision was made by this site to discontinue the provision of statistical estimates and instead rely on the known metric: the difference between YouTube Chart views and the public counter..

Like you said it's probably at least like 80% accurate though, I just think it's crappy. I don't trust it or YT.

Hopefully YG stop using ads though because it's ridiculous and just wasting money.

Yg groups have always done well on Yt, and I remember Treasure used to do very well there (or still does?). They have the strongest presence in parts of SEA that has the most dedicated streamers. With Spotify getting bigger there, I expect Baemon will do well there too.

However, I'm afraid that all this attention the group is getting now is just because they're the new shining thing from Yg that people has waiting for so long. If Yg doesn't act fast, without a real hit and solid management, those 'fans' will get bored and move on to other successful groups. Exclusivity worked wonders for Bp, but we've seen how Yg messed up with Treasure. Even though they’re still doing well, they’re the weakest boy group from the big 4 in the 4th gen.
