SM Entertainment are the absolute best at debuting distinct, diverse girl groups

SM does understand how to create an identity I’ve noticed people usually love to hate SM groups at the start then hate that they love them after 2/3 years because they’re so loyal and consistent with their sound and image

Even if you hate an SM groups sound and music chances are you respect their dedication to their sound and marketing even when it’s not your cup of tea!

Hoping for Smngg to continue their uniqueness in their identity and sound! Who knows I may not like Smngg music and sound just as some luvies didn’t like aespa or some Sones didn’t like Fx and Rv but I will always respect their ability to bring something different and unique

NewJeans will always be an SM group to me. From concept to sound to styling - it's basically the embodiment of MHJ's lifework and vision at SM coming into fruition

JYP has made several missteps pretty much the entirety of 4th generation.

That's true but I wanna wait to see how they handle their new girl group before I make my final judgement.

If you asked me this a month ago, I'd probably say yes but I have a feeling they're about to fumble hard on SNSD cuz of the stuff going on with Taeyeon.

They are one of the best, for sure. But they are also one of the best at tanking them.

f(x) had a single tour in their entire career, over 6 years in, it was after their FOURTH album after Sulli had already left it had 11 stops and only in South Korea and Japan.

I refuse to get myself dragged into another SM group because of it no matter how strong their groups can be.

Yes, they've had the biggest roster of iconic girl groups which all sit in a somewhat of a different lane.

I do think that their upcoming gg is likely to be a second coming of SNSD (with maybe a slight twist) but I think enough time has passed for this.

All the others also have amazing groups too. I'd put JYP second in the distinct and diverse rankings. Then Hybe but I'm not counting Fromis and GFriend. YG last for obvious reasons.

If we are speaking about artistic direction, dicography and members' talent and vocals then yes, SM are the best at debuting girl groups for the Big4.

Now if we are speaking about treating the members like actual human beings and managing them in the long run then they are clearly not the best.
