Spotify vs. Apple Music vs. other streaming platforms

I mostly use Youtube Music because it has a larger nusic library.

I use Spotify Premium, and I really enjoy the ad-free experience and the ability to create custom playlists. However, I find it frustrating that some songs aren’t available in certain countries, and I dislike having to wait for releases from places like Japan to become accessible. On the bright side, when my playlists end, Spotify’s random song suggestions have helped me discover so many amazing artists and tracks I wouldn’t have found otherwise.

Youtube, because YT premium bring a lot more value to the premium than other platforms imo. I like to watch a lot content outside of music too in YT.

Youtube premium too good

yt music except i love and hate it at the same time
its functionality on desktop is questionable at times, and it doesn't alway select the right version of a song to play if that makes sense? likeeee i was tryna listen to some nct but it kept playing the archive videos which doesn't play the full song

YouTube music, because of YouTube Premium. And I like the recommendations more than those of Spotify which i used to have.

I mostly consume kpop through MVs and just use standard Youtube for that. I have Spotify Premium for many years and use it sometimes, but not often.

Apple Music
The main reason is that it has lossless audio, which is important to me. It's also part of Apple One, which includes Apple TV, Music, iCloud storage, and more.
apple music audio is just too good, spotify is absolute dogshit in comparison - we're nearly in 2025 and they're still using archaic methods to compress music that was developed for 90s hardware smh
