Been proclaiming Jo Yuri as the second coming of IU and would be the most glad about such news.
But there is never going to be another IU to rule music and acting to that extent.
Jo Yuri may be another Sejeong, Suzy or Yoona - we will see.

But yes, i still follow my Izgone girls. I was in tears when i saw these tweets. This girl is literally following in IU's footsteps 
. I heard 140million households watched the first season as of a year ago. This probably equals 600+ million people by now. Unbelievable numbers, that's like 10 percent of the world.
Most will be tuning into at least the first few episodes to see what happens. This means Yuri will be seen by 10 percent of the world. More individual exposure than any Kpop idol in history probably.
And look at how she's being featured. I remember someone making fun of Yuri saying how she will be a cameo only and will get killed off in 1 episode but judging by how she's being featured, she might last a lot longer. Director couldnt stop praising her auditions. My only worry is that she's going to be fridged to further the BF's storyline which would make me rage for weeks. 
I have a much better proposal on how they can take her storyline and make her the Leading Lady she deserves to be.

Yep, i read that too. The spoiler is what gives me hope that her storyline wont end in one episode.
I would actually turn her into the villain of the series. Most folks probably expect her to be the good guy in the story but i hope she ends up to be the opposite. Like have her become super close to the mother/son combo but then betray them in the end. Doing whatever she can to survive.
I'm surprised she's clearly part of the main cast and thus probably won't be killed off in the first episodes. I had low expectations but as huge Yuri bias I'm glad about this. I'm sure her acting will be just fine as she was already great as the lead in Mimicus.
I really hope WakeOne capitalizes on the opportunity has her comeback while the show is airing. It's pretty clear she's (luckily) not done being an idol since she performed at a bunch of concerts recently.
