Gaeun’s case proves there’s no justice in this world

  • People don’t care about right or wrong. A “contract” is all that matters to them, no matter how one-sided, unfair and infringing on human rights. Gaeun was kicked out of her group, no lawsuit because its millions of dollars to fight, even if she was the victim. The CEO has all the power in the contract and backed up by shareholders. Money, greed, misogyny, predation, apathy. I also feel sorry for Yeseo. She escaped Busters company. But ended up in one even worse who wouldn’t allow her her a blanket in a freezing wind because they wanted her for fan service.

  • unfortunately that's just life and kpop is no different

there are many types of justice in the world - money, power, connections - it is unfortunate that such types lie in the hands of a select few. Luckily I have my own form of justice - the second amendment

Why are people assuming she got kicked out? Articles say she left the group, which makes sense considering the nature of this situation.

I'm hoping she does get justice and that she has a good support system throughout all of this.

As for contracts, I hope something can be done so that idols can freely leave a group whenever they want, but the debt system is a complicated thing. Should we eradicate it? Ideally, yes, but it's easier said than done.
