For kpop idols their most necessary talents are singing, rapping and dancing, the last one isn't the main talent an idol should've imo and then be completely useless in the first two bc in the end they are idols to release music, not dance covers so if you aren't a good singer or rapper then you aren't talented or qualified to be an idol imo. Just dancing won't save your singer career in the long run.
Funny enough being pretty is also a talent, but seeing your takes in others threads I'll just name the most important ones for the kpop fans that are here for the music.

No, no. My takes in other threads are irrelevant. I genuinely created this thread to just observe and educate myself so feel free to say what your heart desires (as far as it's not something that can earn you a WP from the mods).
Most of the things I've said on AKP is just me trolling/trying so hard to be a pain in the butt.

Yes. That's right! We need to be allies in this fight.

Basically this, I do believe idols should know how to either sing or rap good and dance is third place without much necessity, but overall the talent is this.
While performing being charismatic, passionate and that's it.
I know visuals are important, but it was never something I expected from kpop groups.. my first group was BB they aren't exactly a visual group kkkkk so the talent is being a good singer with good stage presence or if they debuted not that good, improving with time, but a good improvement, not just some 0.5% improvement.

Of course, I will. They're the only 5th Generation group that I'm actually interested in.

talent in what areas
I always like to remind people that idols do sing and dance and rap but that's not all they do - they can act and model and mc and star on variety shows, compose and write and produce etc etc
all of those skills plus more are examples of "talent" however when kpop fans usually discuss talent they are referring to the singing, dancing and rapping parts only
examples: I would argue yoona is a much better actress than she is a singer and her "true" talent might lie in acting
