K-pop Stars try real Fish & Chips for the first time! ft. Le Sserafim

I'm not a Fearnot but I watched it out of curiosity and now I'm hungry Also, need to try some vinegar on my chips the next time I have them.

I used to watch some videos from those two guys a while ago, but completely forgot about them. They're quite entertaining and Ollie really did his homework, learning their songs

they even got LSF, interesting

These two Brits seem really famous

What a fun watch! Now I want to try fish and chips! And I did not know chips meant fries.

I thought it meant potato chips.

Actually, I want to try them all. I'm not a picky eater.

One thing about LSF is they will always be grateful for food.

1. Make sure it is either a good malt vinegar, don't do it with any fancy other kinds of vinegar like red wines or balsamics, just a plain bog standard malt vinegar. In the UK the default brand is Sarsons or a pickled onion vinegar, a lot of Fish and Chip shops will decant the vinegar from their empty jars of pickled onion and have it as an alternative vinegar to use it adds a certain different zing to the fish and chips.

2. Salt. Add loads of it... then give it a toss around the plate so both the salt and vinegar has a chance to hit the bottom layer of chips. You don't want to just cover the fish with it.

3. What we think of as Chips, US'ans will consider to be steak fries as the closest approximation.

p.s. you don't want to know what I pay for Sarsons malt vinegar with international shipping overseas....

In British English chips are the equivalent of American fries. And the word for potato chips is crisps. There'a few more words that are different like that, afaik.

Another funny one is "pants", but my former British colleagues understood if someone used it instead of trousers, so there were no funny confusions, at least at my work

Oh man. I need curry sauce and chips now. Well, it’s 8 am so not *exactly* now, but I might have to get myself a cheeky chippie takeaway tonight!

The ladies and food is always entertaining and yes, now I will seek out good fish and chips too. I also always ask for at least re salt and lime and a small amount of Thai seafood sauce too 🔥

The fish and chips I get usually comes with tartare sauce and mayo never curry sauce.
