Out of topic but my favorite solo song from him is still Serendipity, it’s just that good. Plus, that’s when his vocals were still in great shape and not as strained as they sound now. Honestly, I can’t really listen to his recent solo stuff or even some Bts songs because of it. I’m not sure if he switched vocal coaches or if he’s been using the wrong technique all this time and it started catch up on him, but his vocals seem to have gone downhill and will just get worse if he doesn’t train properly. It’s such a shame because his voice is so unique for a male idol and used to be my favorite in kpop. It's soft and rich at the same time. Honestly, he could’ve become an amazing vocalist if he is under Sm, because it doesn’t seem like Hybe took vocal training seriously.

I'm not sure if he made changes with his vocal coaches but some members did vocal lessons outside of BH/HYBE.

His voice did changed throughout the years.

I can tell it must be Jk because his vocals have really leveled up, and he just keeps getting better. The other members should go to his vocal coaches too because whatever they’re doing is clearly working for him. And Hybe might as well just fired most of their in-house vocal trainers except for Pledis because, to be real, they’re all useless.
