I’m on the fence but I think I’m going to sell my photo cards and SVT albums..

I have been thinking about this for a while but recently I sold some really old and original 5SOS of summer posters (before they had millions of followers), and maybe part of it is seeing how excited the girl was to have them. I think she was quiet younger then me but I said to take care of them well and she says I will!, and it made me wonder about some of my stuff.

Someone could really like them and put them well into use. I’m more than aware that I came across Seventeen only when they had mixtapes on their SoundCloud and waiting for an album to be released and that’s pretty pre debut if you ask me. And I don’t need to prove to anyone else how ‘true’ or ‘good’ of a fan I am. I think when I bought the albums it was cool to get Minghao, Scoups, Jeonghan and others in terms of photocards but I was just like oh okay cool and moved on.

I think I’m going to sit on the idea, go for my hike tomorrow and then consider selling them. They are just collecting dust and although I really love their mini album and Semi Colon it doesn’t feel worth it. But it feels weird to in a sense.

I’m watching this girls video [ATEEZ Anniversary, calculating how much my collection actually cost], and although mine is not as big as hers. It makes me think for sure.

I’m in a weird point of life right now to but I’m going to give it another day or two to think it out. ☺️

I only found out what other platforms were when my little brother told me 5 seconds of summer were on YouTube lol. So I did miss a lot of those milestones.

I know what you mean, sometimes we can just fall out of love with collecting. I've been debating selling parts of my collection lately too, mostly some photocards (I want to keep the albums for the music), but I haven't decided yet. I also find it a bit hard to sell kpop items recently (the ones that I have multiple of).

Good luck with whatever you decide OP! Even if you decide to sell your albums, you will still have fond memories with your favourite group that you can always cherish and remember.

I just got back from the rodeo so I didn’t see your message until now but I really appreciate you taking the time to write this out. Sometimes when I make a post like this I’m like is it to random or more on the random post thoughts thread and I’m just not sure.

I think I’m definitely keeping Colde’s and DPR Ian’s album but definitely will need to think about it. Don’t want to regret it later.
