Putting the group in Division 2 itself ruined the group

From GOT7 to ITZY, ruining both groups

    1. [+133, -3] Even if the teenage girls in *censored' gathered and planned, it would still be better than Division 2

    2. [+125, -0] I don’t understand why they listen to that song and say ok

    3. [+124, -1] ITZY’s album this time also flopped… What should they do? ㅠㅠ

    4. [+113, -8] When GOT7 and ITZY received good responses overseas, they should have captured the domestic market as well.. It’s lucky that Stray Kids is still a success story. If Stray Kids also failed, JYP should have taken YG’s hand and shut down the business

    5. [+94, -3] It seems like there’s a problem with the head of Division 2. I suspect that this person was also in charge of Miss A before

  • K-pop is simply overrated due to strong marketing, Stray Kids, who are so often referred to, are not even close to the streaming of Hybe/SM/YG groups, it is not about the music, it is about the lack of promotion. Chk Chk Boom had unreal marketing, but it is not even close to the tracks of Jennie, Lisa, aespa, etc. It is not even about the music, it is just that K-pop is so inflated that really good numbers are already considered a failure.

The only groups stray kids hasn't come close this year in terms of streaming is bp/bts members (like everyone else) and magnetic (only, cause illit's other tracks' streaming numbers are normal so far). Other than that, their streaming numbers are either doing better or close to other successful K-pop songs internationally with 'Chk Chk Boom'.

But you said some truths, It's not exclusively about the music, but the marketing/branding. There was a time, ITZY's branding was hot topic and everything they released would get attention. But this time, people don't even give a listen to form a personal opinion If It fits their taste or not and It's reflected on their first day's streams. Most people see online others' opinion saying It's bad, so they don't even try.
