Has anyone noticed in KPop, that the subtitles in a KPop music video would never match the lyric they're actually singing
Why do the English subtitles never match the actual lyrics of the song?

You mean the actual translation?

Yeah this and ty. I've always been curious about this.
I assume English is your first language xD
It's very common usually, when learning new languages, to learn how the sentences are formed, since many times the order differs based on language.
For example, in English you'll have the adjective stand before the noun while in my language it would be the exact opposite, with the noun standing before the adjective etc.

This is a problem in subtitles for movies and TV series. Sometimes things are spoiled a few seconds earlier because the sentence order is different.
-
Well, it's a direct translation of the general meaning, not a word to word explanation.

Oh yeah, I think it's to rearrange it for it to make sense. There are many rules in English that are very different in Korean. Rough translations can come off as confusing because of these rules.
