    According to the Korea Entertainment Management Association's Tempering (contact before contract expiration) regulations, it is okay to contact other agencies or discuss exclusive contracts starting three months before the contract ends. The Boyz is about three months away from the end of their contract, so they can contact other agencies at this point.

    Yup, that also came from an article today about G-Idle's Soyeon's contract expiring in November, it says that Soyeon heading to Zico's KOZ Entertainment is unlikely now( thank god I don't want her heading to Hybe).

    still ideal would be that 6 months like in football/soccer, where you can not just discuss but also sign a contract with new team even when you still have 6 months of current active contract left

    In a statement from One Hundred to media outlet Ilgan Sports, they confirmed their plans to have THE BOYZ join their company. They would begin their promotions under One Hundred in December.


    While we were in discussions with THE BOYZ, it was great to see that they all wanted to transfer [to a new agency] together. We hope that we can create a new chapter for THE BOYZ, who show their best teamwork when all together.
