  • For the millions of things sold over 5 years to only have 672 complaints, that’s actually not bad lol. I’d like to see a percentage chart and opposed to just the number of complaints I bet they wouldn’t top.

  • These sound like consumer complaints mostly related to product defects:

Looking at consumer damage relief application cases, there were many refund requests related to defects in idol goods such as photo cards, delayed delivery, and exclusive content transmission platforms.

Like Paulette hinted, when you're the company the represents many groups that are routinely million+ sellers and also groups with fandoms that are *ahem* very vocal, it's not surprising that you have more complaints in general...

For example, Mr. A discovered a defect in the album box and requested an exchange, but was rejected.

Note, the article doesn't say which company Mr A got the album from... but most Korean album selling sites make great pains to stress that the box an album comes in is "protective" and generally have some disclaimer like:

"* Outboxes are designed to prevent shock to protect the product, so scratches, wrinkles, discoloration, etc. may occur during packaging/delivery, which cannot be a reason for exchange."

Eh I dunno... this is a non story.

Even Hybe, with 672 complaints? When taking into account that NewJeans debut album alone sold over a million units. So hypothetically, if EVERY one of those complaints was about something wrong with THAT album... thats 0.0672%

  • this is such small number

why are people making fuss over it?

that some album was damaged during shipment?

I would understand if the situation would be 1000-2000 cd's or photocards were damaged

but in a way that fan opened carton box, looked inside oh my album is all ok

but then when he/she opened album then inside was broken cd or scratched photocard, then complain is reasonable
