    Original Post

    1. I’m not surprised

    2. Jeon Soyeon does what she wants without worrying about what others think, and she always succeeds, which seems likely to happen this time too

    3. Why did you work with a group that contributes to the degradation of women’s human rights? Please think about your own impact before working

    4. Wow… I’m not surprised at all

    5. I bought Jeon Soyeon’s solo album, but I’m so disappointed….

    6. Seriously, I have nothing more to say

    7. I was going to say they get along so well, but all the comments are the same

    8. I’m so disappointed ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

    9. I’m disappointed but not surprised…

    10. Honestly, this is not surprising at all

fans are coping for her to be the pd for the actual title for the mini album release with an unknown date

  • i forgive soyeon for her horrible english lyrics literal queen

  • Nice to see Soyeon make a cameo because she's a big fan of theirs. The song itself is decent on first listen. I don't think it captures the magic of their other songs, but maybe it will sound better after more listens

  • wait im so confused, what did qwer do to get this reaction? how did the group degrade womens rights?

all the members have done male-orientated content like gravure photoshoot or dancing with their cleavage out

the member in my sig and dp has also openly criticized feminists when she was labelled a feminist

  • Not a bad song, bot not a BOP!

Am I the only one who don't see the problem with this? It's not like most female Kpop Idols, even underage girls, do the same on a daily basis.

I'm not sure about the feminist part tho, I need some detailed info to make a judgement!

i think the male oriented dancing is the most hyprocrite reason for hating this group considering almost all girlgroup are dancing with revaling clothes no?

for the feminist thing is very unfortunate because the context itself is very long to explain and as you know haters cant even be bothered to read even the fans keep explaining.

mm, they don't see it that way. streamers are whores while idols are sacred

honestly there's a lot of context for chodan's situation

i can only tell you a very biased pov but basically what happened was that she was found out to be from a woman's university and in korea it's almost guaranteed you become a feminist if you're from a woman's uni

when the misogynists found out they started to harass her in her streams

so she explained that she felt a lot of unfairness that she was being attacked for something she didn't do

she also explained how she saw some bad sides of korean feminists during her time in her uni

honestly i do have bad feelings about what she said

but when you take into account how a streamer with a similar situation took her life i don't know if i want to blame her for speaking out and defending herself from being associated with korean feminists

also i'm sure she has her own thoughts on the incels she train to give her money and the disgusting korean misogynists but she just can't say that out loud

criticizing her for her anti-feminist remarks and not supporting the group because of her? fine by me honestly

calling the group misogynistic and spreading false rumors about how they've done porn and sexually harassing them? how does that contribute to women's rights?

this is my very biased view and i'm sure there's a lot it can be criticized for

i didn't really want to talk about this because i think i've talked about this enough on other sites lol and i don't know if i want to spend my life explaining this thing it just kinda hurts my brain lol

  • so she explained that she felt a lot of unfairness that she was being attacked for something she didn't do

No, she said more than that. She said she's not a feminist and that she doesn't want to be associated with, and I quote, "those crazy bitches".

She doubled down on her thoughts about feminists in another stream where she said she hates them.

is that right? i remember her not even mentioning feminists/feminism so she couldn't have said she was not. and yes she did refer to a group of people as "crazy bitches" which is most likely feminists/some of her university classmates since there was an incident related to her woman's university.

she mentioned loathing feminists in a post on her fancafe, and not another stream.

i could be wrong, would be great if you could bring some sources

I wasn't even counting the statement, but that would be the 3rd time she confirms how she feels about feminists. I first came across her and what she said on an article on a kpop website.

Quote from k boo article - can't link here

Anyways… Uh… I’m not saying this because I am swayed by them, but I want to make things clear. People first told me to hide the fact that I went to a women’s university, but I didn’t because I knew something like this would happen. I’m not (a feminist). I’m just upset that I am being affected (negatively) by those crazy b#tches.

    Quote from same article

In another video, Chodan then states that she detested feminists after she had read a word that was a slur used towards men out loud.

"Hey, stop! Shh, no! Don’t read it (chat)? Ok, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have read it. Since I really hate them (feminists), ew…"

^ this is about 허버허버 which is a Korean slang that men with fragile masculinity get offended by (it is supposed to mimic the sound a person does when eating a lot very fast, like "gobble"; according to some men it's a "man-hating" slang lmao) - an article about it: https://www.chosun.com/nationa…KBH2SCRNCW5GVGOST3VPBR7Q/

  • 1.a korean streamer killed herself after get bullied by male extremist because she said she's a feminist :)

2.and that article still not mentioning she said for feminist in general or just a very spesific group of radical feminist.

  • i just hope you dont hastily judge someone because you dont know what really happened back then :)
