  • Bop. I'm really liking this musical direction for them. Their best since "ALIVE"! Give it some time; I might have to confirm that it's my favorite LIGHTSUM song. I love how they went with their own brand of UK garage, going in a more ferocious route than what we're used to with UK garage in K-pop.

Chowon contributed with some amazing vocals. That sequence with Sangah's rap verse, Juyeon following up with some soft singing in contrast, and then Sangah with the "blow your mind" line was harmonious perfection.

    I love the production.

As for the music video, Sangah is just so fierce and bold. She stood out in a good way. Juyeon, Chowon, and Sangah shined.

  • personally don't know really what to say

kind of like CUBE's own rendition on style dominated by NewJeans?

also the MV looks very cramped like it was all filmed in 2-3 room apartment, which isn't good

well but then at least we suddenly got spoiled

  • Now this is a turn in the right direction! I can be real, people talk about Cube and how bad their management is, but when they do a turn around like this, I get impressed. The girls have a group aura now, something they didn’t have during the “Vanilla” cycle.

Something I would like is to cut down on the redundancy of the music in the hook. There is a loop that plays too much during the hook.

Is there room to due something unexpected during this song? YES!

During 1:15-1:30, go full tilt on a New jersey Club beat! Turn the speed to .75 ;-)!

Feels really good! Good job to Cube for turning this one around.

  • It sounds great! it kinda reminds me of Newjeans' musical style with their debut songs: the smooth, ongoing funky beat, the mellow vocals. Not sure if that style has its own name or subgenre, but it has that vibe.

I still think Cube made a mistake with trying to push and make Nayoung happen instead of some other members - she's just not on the level as the center/face of many other groups.

But hopefully they'll do well with their comeback!! so that Cube will invest more resources in better concepts, songs and promotion for them X/
