I thought the biggest tour of 2024 was IVE's, since it did 31 foreign stops. I do not count Korean stops.
But the available figures for IVE's tour only total 110,000
Figures from Bangkok, Inglewood and the European and Latin American leg of the tour are not available.
Assuming Bangkok is about 12,000 and the Inglewood, European leg and Latam leg , 9 stops total, average 9,000 that is another 81,000, so about 203,000 so far.
IVE did Hong Kong and has 5 more stops in SE Asia and Australia, and assuming 12,000 per day, the 7 shows are 84,000, totaling 291,000
Meanwhile, IU's world tour has 28 days outside of Korea, totaling about 350,000.
IVE has to raise 60,000 with its 2 day Tokyo Dome tours to beat the domesticist. And I assumed the max figures for spots whose figures are not available; it is possible that even if Tokyo Dome is sold out, IVE might not beat the Senior Singer's figure.
Reliable figures for NCT Dream's world tour are hard to find. Given that SM tends to rent larger places for its concerts than actual attendees, it is hard to say that its tour topped IU's.
Stray Kids has 15 stops in Asia for its upcoming world tour. Although it will go to Tokyo Dome and other places, it has to average more than 22,000 per day to beat IU's record.
Others do not have a shot.
If Korean figures are added, Lee Jieun will add 56,000 plus 80,000 plus in Seoul, giving an unbeatable advantage since among the active music acts of Korea she has the largest concert of all in there, even over Lim Youngwoong.
Unless Stray Kids average more than 22,000 per show in its world tour, the domesticist whose contribution to Kpop is virtually noexistent will have the largest world tour of all in 2024.
Something is very wrong if a domesticist has the largest world tour of all in Korean Pop but that appears to be what is happening.
